Activity measuring method

Activity is defined as Cross Count Data.
[Cross Count]
Counts the number of times XYZ acceleration vector synthesized waveform crosses the threshold levels from bottom to top per Recording Interval (Cross Count).

* The threshold can be set arbitrarily.

Recordable Time:days

For example, if you set the momentum and temperature recording intervals to 1 minute *1, you can measure up to 20 days *2. In this case, measurement data is saved every minute.

*1 The momentum and temperature recording intervals can be set independently. (For example, you can measure momentum every minute and temperature every two minutes.)
*2 The limitation of the number of days above is due to the internal memory capacity and battery. It is possible to measure up to 60 days by loading data into the PC at the appropriate time (* 3) before the memory becomes full.
*3 There are 3 measurement modes: "Stopped with Memory Full", "loop" (Overwrite from the beginning again with memory full) and "arbitrary time specification" (Specify arbitrary start and stop times). For continuous long-term measurement, select a mode other than "Stopped with Memory Full".

Reading Data

A separate nano tagTM viewer program "nano tag Viewer" is required to read the data.
FeliCaTM communication is used to setup nano tagTM parameters and Readdata.
By extending it with a USB cable, you can bring it close to an animal and take in data.
You do not need to look at the screen during communication because the start and end of communication is notified by sound.

For implantation into the body

When implanted subcutaneously, place the nanotagTM antenna on the outside. Note that communication cannot be performed if the antenna is inside or separated by more than 1 cm.

Caution
Embed the antenna so that it is positioned outside. (The battery is inside.)
(ID number is written on the battery side.)

If the implant is more than 1 cm deep from the body surface, such as the abdominal cavity, start measuring the nanotagTM before implantation and remove it from the body before reading or stopping the measurement. If the distance between the card reader and nanotagTM exceeds 1 cm, no communication is possible.
